My week of vacation is ending today and tomorrow I must go back to work.One looks forward to the time off with expectations of rest and renewal(and whatever other delusions that you bring into this adult life)and holiday cheer.I purposely focused myself at the beginning of the season to really make this time all about HIM.I didn't want to get caught up in the money issues,the present issues,the business of it all.It was going fairly well until VACATION.It seems like that's when all the demons do their dance and I had a full dance card.I took my eyes off Jesus and let man's traditions make a wreck of my life during this week.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
